If you have KPN Home Internet, we’ll give you extra GB's! When you sign up for Simyo Compleet, we'll verify with KPN if there's active KPN Home Internet at the provided address. You'll enjoy extra GB's as long as you have a Simyo subscription and reside at an address with KPN Home Internet. In that case, Simyo Compleet will be activated alongside your subscription.

If it turns out you don't reside at an address with KPN Home Internet, you'll remain on your regular subscription. If you cancel any of the products or if they are no longer at the same address, your Simyo Compleet benefits will be discontinued.

Simyo Compleet is a bonus and definitely not mandatory. You can always deactivate Simyo Compleet via My Simyo.

Internet speed

At Simyo you can use 5G, 4G and 2G network of KPN. The maximum download speed of 5G internet is 300 Mbps, while the maximum upload speed is 150 Mbps. The speeds depend on your device, coverage in the area, and traffic on the network.

Tariffs outside of bundle

Don't have an internet bundle or have you run out of data? In that case you pay € 0.15 per MB.

Additional data bundle

Once your internet bundle runs out, you can purchase additional data bundles. These bundles are valid until the last day of the month.

Simyo provides you with the solid and reliable 5G network of KPN. You’ll have optimal coverage, wherever you are. You can check the coverage in your region here .

With a data cap you can browse worry-free without constantly checking your bundle. It automatically stops when your internet bundle is used up. Without a data cap, you can continue browsing at full speed, but you'll be charged € 0.15 per MB once your bundle is depleted.

With a data cap, all your internet traffic in the Netherlands and Zone 1 countries (Europe) is protected. Outside Europe, costs are incurred beyond your bundle and also beyond the data cap. View rates for outside Europe here .

Advance warning notifications

You'll receive a warning sms at 80% and 100% usage of your internet bundle in the Netherlands or other Zone 1 countries. You'll always receive these notifications, even without using a data cap.

Extra MB’s

Is your bundle used up? You can easily purchase extra MB’s at any time, even before your bundle is fully consumed. As long as you have internet (or WiFi), you can buy Extra MB’s via My Simyo or the My Simyo App . You can also purchase Extra MB’s via sms: send '500 MB aan' to 1330 to receive 500 MB of extra data for € 5.

Validity of call minutes and sms

Call minutes and text messages are valid for 1 calendar month. At Simyo, each call is rounded up to the nearest whole minute.

Unused bundle credit does not carry over to the next month.

Out-of-bundle rate

At Simyo, you pay € 0.31 per minute or sms when your call minutes run out and you make calls outside your bundle.

Different rates apply if you go out of bundle outside the Netherlands.

Extra call bundle

Extra bundles are always valid in the month of purchase, from the first to the last day of the month. You can purchase bundles on My Simyo.

How does a one-time payment work?

You can opt for a one-time payment for your phone by setting the monthly amount to € 0. You then pay for the phone in one go. This way, you have no monthly phone costs in addition to the costs of the subscription (data/calls/text messages).

How does a split payment work?

A credit agreement is in place when you choose to pay for your phone in installments. No interest or other costs are charged for this credit agreement. This means you always pay the same price for a phone, regardless of whether you choose to pay in one lump sum or in installments. The mandatory monthly payment can be made via direct debit. This applies for the entire term of the credit agreement.

BKR and Income and Expense Assessment (ILT)

The Financial Supervision Act (Wft) also applies to the purchase of a phone with a payment plan as of May 1, 2017. The government has determined that if you want to pay in installments, you are actually entering into a form of credit. In other words, a loan. For phone loans of € 250 or more, we are required to register the loan with the BKR credit registry. For full down payments or phone loans of less than € 250, no BKR check or ILT check will be performed. We calculate your maximum credit based on factors such as your family composition, your income, and your living expenses. After the ILT check, we carry out a BKR check. This check looks at whether you have any outstanding loans and whether there are any payment arrears. In addition, any credit from € 250 is registered with the BKR. This is a positive registration, just like the possibility of being overdrawn at the bank.
