Can I use Family Discount to order a Prepaid plan?

No, not yet. But you can still benefit in another way. First, order a Prepaid plan via the website . During checkout, you can enter that you already have a Simyo mobile subscription. This way, both you and your family member receive the €10 VriendenDeal discount. Once everything is set up and your family member has login details for the Mijn Simyo app, you can enable number management from your own app.

How many SIM cards can I order?

At Simyo, you can order up to 5 SIM cards per address or bank account. If you go beyond that, the order will be rejected.

Does your household have more than five people, or do you live in a large student house? Then it’s best to contact our customer service. We’ll check if the extra physical SIM card can still be approved.

If not, you can send a screenshot of your payment (if applicable) via chat or WhatsApp to customer service , and we’ll process the refund as quickly as possible.

Can I order a new Sim Only for someone at a different address?

Yes, but not through Family Discount (Samen Korting). If you order a Sim Only subscription via the website , you can still indicate that you’re already a Simyo customer. Both of you will still receive the VriendenDeal discount. Once the new digital SIM card is activated, you can still manage the number via the Mijn Simyo app.

Whose name will the contract be under?

The subscription will always be under the name of the customer placing the order. If you already have a Sim Only with Simyo and you order another one via Family Discount (Samen Korting), the new plan will also be in your name.

Prefer not to have it under your own name? Then place the order via the website and select the VriendenDeal (FriendsDeal) discount instead. Once the new SIM card is activated, you can still choose whether you want to manage the number.

What if I don’t want to manage the Sim Only I ordered with Family Discount?

That’s no problem! After you’ve ordered through Family Discount (Samen Korting), you can end management of the number in the Mijn Simyo app. The contract remains in your name, but you won’t have to manage it.

Can I order an extra SIM card for myself?

Yes! The Sim Only plan you order with Family Discount (Samen Korting) doesn’t have to be for someone else. You can order a second SIM for yourself and enjoy the discount twice. A double treat!

Can I manage multiple numbers through the Simyo website?

Not yet. For now, you can only manage multiple numbers via the Mijn Simyo app. We’re working hard to expand your options, and soon this functionality will also be available on the website.

How does easy switching between accounts work?

It’s super easy! Tap your name in the top left corner of the Mijn Simyo app, and a menu drops down. Choose the number you want to manage, and it’s instantly updated.

How do I remove an account?

Both you and the other person can decide to stop management at any time. If you no longer want your account to be visible, you can revoke access. The person you shared access with can also stop whenever they want.
