How to activate your first Simyo SIM card:

Log in to Mijn Simyo

Log in to Mijn Simyo with the login credentials sent to you by e-mail.

Choose your new password

Pick a safe and secure password. From now on, you will use it to log in to Mijn Simyo.

Confirm your contract

Would you like to review your contract first? Click ‘Download contract’ to save the PDF. Once you confirm your contract, we will activate your SIM card.

Activation successful

Congratulations, your SIM card is now active! We’ve sent the PIN and PUK code of your SIM by email. Insert the SIM card into your device. You’re now connected and ready to make calls, send texts, and use mobile data with Simyo.

Your Simyo Prepaid SIM card is already active

Your first Prepaid SIM card does not need to be activated. We’ve already done it for you. Simply insert it into your phone and enter your PIN. You’re immediately ready to make calls, send SMS, and use internet.

Lost your PIN? We emailed it to you when you ordered the SIM card. You can also find it in Mijn Simyo under ‘Instellingen' (Settings) > 'Simkaart' (SIM card).

Your SIM card is activated instantly. This means you can make calls, send SMS, and use mobile data right away. If you’re not using number transfer, your bundles will start immediately.


Pay attention to number porting
If you use your Simyo SIM card before your number transfer is complete, you’ll pay out-of-bundle rates when making calls, sending SMS, or using data. Your subscription only starts once your old number has been switched to Simyo. Until then, your call and data bundles are not active yet.

Log in to Mijn Simyo

You can activate your new SIM card by logging in to Mijn Simyo. Forgot your password? Simply set a new one. After logging in, you’ll see an overview showing that a new SIM is on its way. Click ‘Activate your SIM card’.

Great news: your new SIM card is now active. We’ve sent you the new PIN and PUK code by email. Insert the SIM card into your phone and enter the PIN. You’re now connected with Simyo.

Seeing an error message on your cell phone when trying to use your SIM? This can have several causes. We’ve listed the most common SIM card issues and their solutions for you. (foutmelding uitklapper)

Your first Sim Only SIM card?

When everything is in order, your contract for your monthly plan will appear. You can save this contract as a PDF or print it. Once confirmed, your new PIN will be displayed. Insert the SIM into your phone, enter the code, and you’re good to go.

Requested number transfer? Then your bundles will only start once your old number has been switched. This prevents double subscription costs. Only use your Simyo SIM card after the transfer is complete, otherwise you’ll pay the standard out-of-bundle rate.

How do I activate my SIM card for use abroad?

Go to Mijn Simyo or the Mijn Simyo app , and under 'Instellingen' (Settings) > 'Internet en bellen' (Internet and calling), switch on the option 'Bellen in en naar het buitenland' (Calling in and to other countries). You can now call home whenever you want.

Next, switch on 'Internetten in Nederland' (Internet in the Netherlands) and 'Internetten in het buitenland' (Internet abroad) to use internet. Also make sure roaming is enabled in your phone’s settings menu. That’s it: your device is ready for international use.
