Set up your mobile data abroad
Set up mobile data abroad on Samsung or Android
First, check in our Mijn Simyo app if the option 'Bellen in en naar het buitenland' (Calls in and to other countries) is activated. You can find this under 'Instellingen' (Settings) → 'Internetten en bellen' (Internet and calls).
Open your phone settings.
Go to Mobile networks (sometimes called 'Cellular' or 'Mobile data'). If you don’t see it right away, use the search bar in your settings app.
Some phones allow more than one SIM card (dual SIM). If this is the case, first select your Simyo SIM card.
Turn on data roaming. This can also be called roaming or cellular data roaming. On some devices, you can choose between domestic and international roaming. Choose international roaming.
Internet abroad is now activated. If it doesn’t work right away, simply restart your phone.
