You can order a roaming data bundle via SMS. Further down, you’ll find the details per country, including the correct SMS code. Don’t forget to turn on roaming in your device settings and enable ‘ Internetten in het buitenland ’ (Internet abroad) in the Mijn Simyo app or Mijn Simyo.
An international data bundle is valid for 31 days after you activate it, or until you’ve used up your data allowance. Need more? Simply activate another bundle, you can have more than one active bundle.
We’ll send an SMS when you’ve used 80% or 100% of your bundle. Once your bundle is finished, your mobile internet outside the EU will be blocked automatically. This prevents any unexpected extra costs.
When you land in a country with available bundles, you’ll automatically receive a message with instructions on the bundles and how to activate them.
For example: send TURKIJE 15 AAN to 1330.
You’ll receive both an SMS and an email confirming your bundle is active, even if you’re still in the Netherlands. Make sure roaming and Internetten in het buitenland (Internet abroad) are enabled, or the bundle won’t work.
The bundle starts immediately upon activation. Track usage and validity in Mijn Simyo.
If your bundle expires or runs out, roaming will be blocked automatically. No extra roaming costs!
The bundle cost is added to your Simyo invoice, visible in Mijn Simyo.

Once your bundle has run out or expired, we’ll block internet outside the EU to protect you from high charges.
Want to get back online? Simply order another bundle. Don’t want another bundle but still want to use data? You can disable the block by texting BESCHERMING UIT to 1330. Please note: from that moment on, you’ll pay the standard rate of €5 per MB for data outside the EU.
