Manually set up internet on Samsung or Android

First, check in Mijn Simyo or the Mijn Simyo app if the option 'Internetten in Nederland' (Internet in the Netherlands) is switched on. You’ll find this option under 'Instellingen' (Settings) > 'Internet en bellen' (Internet and calling).

Your phone and Simyo SIM normally set up the right settings automatically. If mobile internet still does not work, you can enter the settings manually.

Open the settings menu on your phone

Make sure mobile data is switched on: scroll down, choose 'Connections', go to 'Data usage' and enable 'Mobile data'.

Go back and choose 'Mobile networks'

Tap 'Access Point Names'

Select your Simyo SIM

Tap 'Add'. Now enter the following settings:

- Name: Mobile Internet
- APN: internet
- Username: KPN
- Password: gprs
- MCC: 204
- MNC: 08
- Authentication type: None
- APN type: default,supl
- APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
- APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6

Tap the options button (three dots, top right) and choose 'Save'

Select 'Mobile internet' to activate the APN you just created

Restart your phone to apply the settings

- Name: Mobile Internet
- APN: internet
- Username: KPN
- Password: gprs
- MCC: 204
- MNC: 08
- Authentication type: None
- APN type: default,supl
- APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
- APN roaming protocol: IPv4/IPv6

Tap the check mark (top right)

Select 'Mobile Internet' to activate the APN you just created

- Username: KPN
