Voicemail is the answering machine on your mobile phone. People can leave you a spoken message when you’re not available. These voicemail messages aren’t saved on your phone, but in your voicemail inbox. You can always access your voicemail settings by calling the voicemail number 1233.
These are the most common options to set up your voicemail with Simyo.
To activate voicemail, call 12331 or send an SMS with “AAN” to 1233. To turn voicemail off, call 12339 or send “UIT” to 1233.
Call 1233 and press 1 in the main menu. Then choose between four different greetings for your voicemail messages.
Call 1233 to check voicemail and listen to your received messages. While listening, you can delete a voicemail, save it, or go back to the menu.
Listening to your voicemail isn’t free. You pay the same rate as for outgoing calls, also abroad. Receiving voicemail is always free if you don't listen to it.

Turn it off by calling 12339 or send “UIT” via SMS to 1233. Is it still active? Switch your phone off for five minutes and try again. If it still doesn’t work, contact our customer service for further assistance.
No, you can only create or reset a voicemail password while in the Netherlands. If you’re new to Simyo and haven’t done this yet, you won’t be able to use voicemail abroad. Want to change your code? In the main menu, choose option 2 (voicemail settings) and then option 1.
